KFDC partners with Netmums

For 25 years, Netmums has had its finger firmly on the parenthood pulse. They recently identified that feeding the family has become one of the most significant pressure points when it comes to being a parent or carer, and in response have launched their fantastic new Family Food platform, which we're delighted to now be partnered with.

Our first collaborative project has been actioning a survey on what the Netmums community are really struggling with when it comes to feeding their kids, and the results were pretty illuminating.

77% don’t trust product labels

49% said healthy kids food is difficult to find in supermarkets

83% said a healthy choice badge would be helpful and would influence their buying decisions

64% would like to see a dedicated “Healthy Kids” supermarket section

None of the respondents knew anything about the KFDC so these answers were totally unprompted. And overwhelmingly parents said that making it easier to find and identify the products which are genuinely a healthier choice would help them, which is definitely fuel to our fire!
