The KFDC goes global!

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the KFDC’s collaboration with consumer and lifestyle giant Majid Al Futtaim and global retailer Carrefour in one of the biggest shake ups the children’s retail sector has ever seen. 

This week nine KFDC member brands launched exclusively into 30 Carrefour stores across Dubai as part of this ambitious initiative. 

Featuring the world’s first children’s supermarket, Bright Bites is a new destination retail category designed to engage children in food and nutrition and help parents find healthier products, as part of a mission to help tackle soaring levels of childhood obesity. 

Yes it’s bright, it’s loud, it’s Disney-fied… it’s Dubai! But here’s a global player who is engaging and taking action, acknowledging the responsibility they have for the health of future generations.

Creating healthier kids categories is core to the KFDC, and this incredible project sets a new benchmark globally that we hope will inspire similar initiatives in the UK and beyond!
